What We Treat

Fertility

We specialize in fertility. Since we started counting, we have helped with over 3,000 pregnancies (with many many more prior to when we started counting). Over 50% of these have been natural pregnancies. We also work with reproductive endocrinologists to support IVF and IUI procedures.

Our goal in helping you conceive is to identify and rectify imbalances that are preventing you from getting pregnant. These imbalances do not show up on blood tests or imaging, but impede normal ovarian and uterine response to your body’s hormones. We use acupuncture and herbs to address these imbalances and optimize blood flow to the ovaries and uterus, thereby bringing fresh nourishment while removing toxins and metabolic waste.

Pain

Acupuncture is one of the most effective drug-free treatments for pain relief. Treatments are minimally invasive and simple – small, sterilized, single-use, medication-free needles are tapped into the skin. Acupuncture is effective for both acute and chronic types of pain. Additionally, it’s not just for muscle or joint pain — stomachaches, abdominal pain, and bloating to name a few can all be effective treated with acupuncture.

Pain is the body’s way to communicate with the brain that blockages need to be removed in order to restore normal physiological and emotional function. By stimulating specific acupuncture and trigger points with needles, acupuncture will stimulate blood flow, relax and re-train muscles, soothe nerves, and renew the body’s ability to heal. As a result, pain is relieved.

Stress

Acupuncture can help energy flow smoothly, and alleviate not only the symptoms of stress and anxiety, but the stress and anxiety itself. Numerous studies have demonstrated the substantial benefits of acupuncture in the treatment of stress. Acupuncture improves circulation of blood throughout the body, which oxygenates the tissues and cycles out cortisol and other waste chemicals. The calming nature of acupuncture also decreases heart rate, lowers blood pressure and relaxes the muscles. While it isn't always possible to remove the external forces causing stress, the ability to effectively deal with stress is a choice. Take time for yourself to cultivate the energy you need to handle your stress more skillfully and effectively.
