Meet Patricia
As a fourth-generation acupuncturist, Patricia was exposed to the power of acupuncture from an early age. Trained by her father, she learned the time-tested techniques that have helped bring over 3,000 pregnancies to fruition. It is an honor for her to carry on this tradition, using proven methods to help women like you achieve their dreams of motherhood.
Patricia's commitment to women's health goes beyond acupuncture. She had the privilege of working alongside Dr. Diana Ramos, a renowned OBGYN and the current California Surgeon General, to research the impact of chemicals in our daily environment and their impact on women’s reproductive systems. Their research is published in “Vulnerable Populations: Women”, Chapter 9 of The Praeger Handbook of Environmental Health (2012). This experience solidified her passion for taking an integrated, holistic approach to helping with women’s fertility.
Helping women start families is more than a profession for Patricia — it's a personal calling. She is dedicated to providing compassionate care and personalized treatment plans to support you on your fertility journey.
Let's work together to make your dreams a reality.
Our Family Story
Our family's acupuncture experience starts over 100 years ago in our humble hometown in China. It made its way to the US in the 60s with Miriam Lee, one of the pioneering acupuncturists in the US. Back then acupuncture was illegal and she was arrested for practicing. With so many patients citing the efficacy of her treatments and protesting her arrest, she was released and immediately began focusing her efforts to legalize acupuncture in CA. Since she did not have children of her own, she passed down her knowledge to her nephew, Daniel Lee, who both lived with her and worked at her clinic for many years.
Daniel brought the family's acupuncture style down to SoCal in the 80s. At that time, there were few who treated fertility with acupuncture. It wasn't a common approach. Acupuncture was mostly reserved for pain management, not women's health. However, he was inspired to specialize in fertility based on the immense satisfaction he felt helping people achieve their dreams of parenthood. Over his 29 year career, he has helped with over 3,000 pregnancies. He passed down his experiences to his daughter, Patricia Lee who is proud to carry on the family's legacy.
